Who am I?
Hi there, thanks for stopping by! I'm Rachel, a Physical and Health Education student at McGill University, a certified personal trainer, and a lover of all things fitness, nutrition, and health. I created RachFIIT to show you that exercising and eating healthy can be enjoyable and most definitely, doable! It’s an amazing and empowering lifestyle decision that anyone can make. If you are interested in fitness and health and want to adopt new healthy lifestyle habits, you’ve come to the right place!
Over the years, my love for sports, food, and exercise has blossomed into a passion for healthy living. Growing up, I played hockey, touch football, and skied, and when I wasn’t playing sports, I was participating in HIIT (high-intensity interval training) classes with my family. I was always inspired by my trainers and the summer after my first year at McGill, I decided to become one myself! I did my personal training certificate with Canfitpro in the summer of 2019.
In my daily life, you’ll find me coaching boot camp classes, training clients, sweating it out at the gym, creating recipes to make healthy eating accessible, and enhancing my knowledge in fitness and nutrition.
